The seaside towns of Littlehampton and Worthing are within easy reach of our cottage in Arundel and offer some lovely cafes from which to enjoy the view.  These are our favourites (in no particular order) :

The Beach Club, Littlehampton  <https://www.thebeachlittlehampton.co.uk/>

• Has both indoor and outdoor seating near the beach. In summer, watersport equipment available for hire. Paid parking.

East Beach Cafe, Littlehampton <https://eastbeachcafe.co.uk/>

• Indoor seating, close to the playgrounds, handy for kids. Paid parking.

Sea Lane Cafe, Worthing <https://www.sealanecafe.co.uk/>

• Indoor and outdoor seating, close to the beach. Near the beach sauna (if the weather is right), so you can pop into the sea for a swim, have a sauna and then something to eat at the cafe. Good selection of cakes. Free parking.

Bluebird Cafe, Ferring <https://thebluebirdcafeferring.co.uk/>

• Indoor and outdoor seating, close to the beach. You can walk up the Ferring rife from the cafe or head down to the beach. We love the club sandwich here. Free parking.

Perch on the Pier, Worthing <https://perchonthepier.com/>

• Best option for a rainy day as it has indoor seating with a glorious view of the sea, as it is situated on the end of the pier. More formal feel and bigger than the other cafes. Paid parking.

If you wanted to, you can start at Perch on the Pier, walk along the promenade and end up at Bluebird Cafe. That would take 90mins. An easier walk would be Sea Lane Cafe to Bluebird Cafe, it is a 45min walk.

You can also easily walk between The Beach cafe and East Beach Cafe.
