The Bluebell season is upon us and the best time to view them are mid April- early May. This is one of my favourite times of the year- we make a yearly pilgrimage to the woods to walk through the bluebells with our family.

Located near Arundel, the Angmering Park Estate in Patching offers a picturesque setting to admire the enchanting bluebell woods. Stroll through the serene woodland, where you may catch a glimpse of deer amidst the vibrant blossoms. Conclude your exploration with a refreshing beverage at the nearby pub. With this in mind, we recommend parking your car around the Fox pub in Patching. Walk down Selden Lane, past Selden barn and the horse stables and you will arrive at the bluebell woods. Any one of those paths will take you through the woods and you can finish off with a drink at the pub.
Other suggested areas for viewing bluebells are:
- The Dover carpark off the A27 (if you head towards Worthing)
- Slindon Woods- leave your car on Park Lane just Southwest of Slindon Village
- Park by the church in Patching
